WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
INITIAL INSPECTION
Upon arrival our technicians will inspect all registers, ducts, and the furnace system. After inspection we will begin bringing in our commercial grade equipment. We will remove all registers throughout and place temporary covers on top of them. We will leave the registers in the rooms next to the floor vents they came out of.
NEGATIVE PRESSURE
Our technicians will create negative air pressure with our powerful Nikro Negative Air Equipment that attaches to your ductwork. This is done in order to ensure no dust or particles can travel outside the duct system. By using negative air, we can ensure all debris will be pulled into our portable system and not into your furnace.

AGITATE DUST
In order to dislodge any particles and debris from your air ducts our technicians will use compressed air. By using whipping hoses and rotating brushes, we go deep into your duct system ensuring to dislodge all debris from your ducts.
REGISTERS AND VENTS
After our technicians run our hoses throughout each vent dislodging debris, we will go back through and clean each vent and register with a sanitizer. If there is a strong odor in your system, we will combat by using a deodorizer that removes smells instead of just masking them.

FREQUINTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
While generally prices range anywhere between $400-$800 Duct Cleaning can vary on price depending on the amount of supply and return vents there are. If you would like a close estimate, you can call our office with a register count, and we will be able to give you a rough estimate on pricing. We must have an in-person inspection in order to give you an exact quote due to the fact that pricing varies due to soil amount, number of furnace units, location of furnace, and more.
Although our technicians will move furniture for you, we recommend moving small, cluttered items away from vents and returns to help our technicians have room to work and create a safer work environment away from trip hazards. If you know large pieces of furniture will need moved to access floor vents below or returns above, we highly recommend unloading as many items as possible to lighten the load for our workers. While we can move most furniture pieces no matter the weight, spending long amounts of time unloading furniture can take away time from our time from duct cleaning. *We DO NOT move Loaded China Cabinets. *
If you have a house fire, HVAC systems can intensify damage by circulating smoke throughout the property. If not handled properly and left untreated, you can risk further damage to your home. Most times your HVAC system can be professionally cleaned but, in some cases, it is necessary to replace. If you have a fire damage, call American Patriot Restoration for a professional inspection.
